I’m “weird” kind of tech guru / digital nomad, cause I’m a huge believer in “less is more” when it comes to Apps & Tools for Internet Entrepreneurs to Create Freedom.
Which also means that every once in a while (actually quite often) I’m having a look at what kind of technology I use, how I’m using it, what the results are … and what “noise” I can remove to keep everything tidy.
Digital Diet February 2013
On the ‘nomination’ list for removal (by the end of this month) are:
- Yahoo account | yes how many times have I revived this within the 90 days expiration? only 1 person left on my list though, everybody else is either on FaceBook and Skype. Time for her to switch as well. :p update 2Mar2013: done!
- Talk Fusion | amazing product for sending out video email newsletters, but … out of the suite of 10 products I only use 1. For everything else I’ve moved to viral features of FaceBook viral video hosting, Google Hangouts. And yes not the first time this TalkFusion on the nomination list either. Still searching for a userfriendly alternative to manage my personal maillist (for example MailChimp or Google App equivalent). Suggestions anyone? … update: 2Mar2013: done! Read here
- A bunch of domainnames | saves costs and management headaches (and experiencing the SEO advantage of Empower Network)
- YouTube | Disconnected if from my Google+ account and hosting video here. Hangout recording? Team does that for me. Update 3Mar2012: actually keeping it for a while longer … serves it’s purposes from a viral perspective.
