How do you sort bookmarks alphabetically in Google Chrome?

Easy! But it took me weeks to find this cool little extension. It’s called “Super Sorter” and it’s indeed fantastic although it’s 0.4.3 version number. You can install it here in the Chrome Extensions ‘shop’. But …

Extra configuration

By default it’s not configured with the best sorting options (read: none, if you’re using the header bar). Make sure you make some additional configuration settings.

Tools -> Extensions. Browse to “Super Sorter” and hit “options” link.

or … just right mouse button on the supersorter icon and “options”.

Then you get this configuration screen:

What you absolutely need to enable manually (IMHO) is autosort and to disable “ignore bookmarks bar”. Just as displayed in the above screen.

P.S. of course this knowledge has been added to My Digital Rolodex.
