My Advertising Pays: Scam/Ponzi Alert ??
There’s (again) a very controversial article going round the internet from BehindMLM.com that My Advertising Pays is supposingly a Scam or a Ponzi (like so many deals in the past: Zeek, TelexFree, Wings). And yes that was what my 1st response was too. Did Kevin Thompson – a top attorney in Direct Sales — consult for any of those? No! Cause he did for MAPS.
Update 24Jan15 (based on posted comment): what does it mean exactly, if Kevin consults for a company?
A lot of people who 1st look at MAPS are too focused on the payplan, while the product value is clear!
What value you purchase in My Advertising Pays?
More importantly fore mentioned ‘companies’ (Zeek, TelexFree etc.) weren’t Traffic Exchanges!
Just because something looks the same?
Doesn’t always mean it is! MAPS is a TE!
What is the definition of a Traffic Exchange?

A traffic exchange website receives website submissions from webmasters that join traffic exchange networks. The person who submitted the website then has to browse other member sites on the exchange program to earn credits, which enable their sites to be viewed by other members through the surf system. This increases the number of visitors to all the sites involved.
Exchanges enforce a certain credit ratio, which illustrates the amount of websites the surfer must view in order to receive one hit through the program for their promoted website. Many sites offer the ability to upgrade one’s membership level for a more equal credit ratio.
As the viewers are all website owners or affiliates, it is possible that some might find certain member sites interesting and thus make note of them on their own sites, sending more traffic their way. Most traffic programs also impose a time limit when members are browsing, ranging from 10 seconds to 60 seconds. Some incorporate the use of captcha to ensure user interaction.

So the value you get for a membership? Is priceless. What I didn’t give answer to yet is where the money comes from. Or the actual answer to this question (many people have):
If everybody buys adpacks? And it’s indeed about profit sharing, then isn’t it a pyramid game / ponzi?
If you put it like that? Yes. But then you haven’t done proper due diligence either! Purchasing ad packs is not the only cashflow source of MAP to pay it’s members for viewing ads from others!
Ad Boosters
The default viewing time of advertisement is 10 seconds. That’s relatively short to get eyeballs on your offer. With an ‘Ad Booster’ pack you increase the viewing time from 10 to 30 seconds. Purchasing ad booster packs cost $50. Additional source of cashflow for MAP …

Conclusion
Some traffic exchangers … have been around for 9+ years! How long My Advertising Pays will be around for? Depends on the how good the management is (amongst several other key factors), but the trials & tribulations they’ve gone through already (and survived)? Nothing short but amazing.

Really?! Simon Stepsys (creator of the promo movie is a 6-figure income earner in multiple companies, and thanks to MAP hit #2 in the leadership boards for one of his income generating opportunities; Empower Network). Paulo Barosso (another great leader and top income earner from Vick Strizheus’ BIM team recommends his members through his teamsite — who are low on cash and high on time — to use traffic exchangers. Will you hit the leaderboards with your opportunity? I don’t know. Some of you are oblivious to purchasing additionals tools that will catapult your business to the next level. And that’s cool … I guess some traffic secrets? Have to remain secret
